In addition to helping businesses implement their Internet strategy, Miranet believes we all live in a community and should give to that community so we can all enjoy a better life.

Toothmobile

Last Fall, the Toothmobile organization approached us because they needed a website to bring attention to the great services they perform for the community. Toothmobile is a van that is equipped as a dentist's office and they go to various elementary schools in California providing dentistry services to young students who would not otherwise get any dental care.

According to the Dental Health Foundation "Among school-age children in the U.S., 25% experience 75% of the tooth decay. That 25% typically represents children who are from economically or socially disadvantaged families, children who have some type of disabling condition, or children who experience other barriers to preventive and treatment services."

After learning about this critical need, we were happy to provide Toothmobile with a professionally prepared website that appealed to children but also presented their story to an audience of teachers, school administrators, and parents at no charge.

Loaves and Fishes Family Kitchen

During this past holiday season we discovered that the very worthy Loaves and Fishes Family Kitchen organization had an out of date website. Loaves & Fishes Family Kitchen is a non-profit organization which provides no-cost hot meals and support services in a safe, caring, and friendly environment. When we contacted the Director, Patricia Draper, she acknowledged they had been without a webmaster for over 8 months.
